Benefits of Membership.


 

1. Your Group is always run by a fully state-licensed therapist.

2. Your Group is made up of a small number of Members who share your same concerns.
Group sizes vary. Most Groups are 6 to 12 Members + the therapist.

3. Groups build affirming and supportive relationships.

4. Cost per Session is $30.
Each Group meeting usually last about an hour (with time before and after for getting to know your Group). Group meetings are called Sessions. A Session usually costs about $30.

5. Want to move to another Group? Fine. 100% Guarantee.
Change to another Group if you want. We've found that becoming comfortable with your Group usually takes about 3 to 4 Sessions, but it's up to you. Your 1st Session is fully refundable.

6. Comes as you are.
Groups meet online using our super-easy-to-use AI-based Community-Building Platform. Each Group meeting is called a Session.

7. Be as anonymous as you want..
No pressure. You decide your level of activity in your Group. Members can opt-out of sharing their video at any time. Most Members prefer to share their video after 2 or 3 Group Sessions.

8. You select your therapist. .
We never make that decision for you. You are encouraged to check out each therapist's Profile and Rating to find the best match for you. All therapists are rated by the Members who have participated in Groups with them.

9. Decide on your own length of therapy. .
Because of the reduced rates, most Members find continuing with the Group therapy is very affordable.

10. Our Smart Therapy insures you will receive best-standards therapy every Session. .
We believe in focused effective therapy. Some therapists are more skilled in areas than other. We've developed our AI-based "Smart Syllabus" that provides a best-standards platform consistently meeting the needs of each Member in your Group.

11. Want individual therapy? .
Not everyone needs individual ("one-on-one") therapy, however, Better Together© will keep you updated when one-on-one therapy sessions open with your therapist.

By completing a short survey, you are helping us curate a list of group opportunities tailored just for you. Not completely satisfied with the groups suggested? No worries! You have full access to our entire catalog to help you find the most comfortable, safe environment tailored to you. Plus, we have added filter options such as gender specific groups, inclusive or exclusive regional radius, LGBTQIA+ and allies, religious orientation, etc.

Next, choose a group and register. Your personal profile calendar will be updated, and we’ll send you a friendly reminder via email or text before the group starts.

During your group session, relax and enjoy connecting with real people who share similar experiences. Don’t feel like sharing? That's ok! we have equipped each group with multiple ways to engage from break out rooms, to emoticons, to instant messaging, you participate at your comfort level.

Our technology has been used by us, proven by us, worldwide, since 2023. Nothing like Zoom (or anything else out there). Easy to use. Highest levels of security and data integrity. Super hi-resolution. Decide for yourself. Why use anything less capable?

3. Doesn't require a great Internet connection.

Bad connection? No problem. We'll automatically adjust your video and mic. Still not enough? We'll convert you to audio-only until your signal strength picks back up.
 

4. Is my personal data safe?

We use the latest and most sophisticated data security tools and algorithms to protect your data. You information is only available to your Group therapist.
 

5. Not sure about this "AI-enabled" thing. Is it safe?

We never use AI to make any decisions about your therapy. Never. Those decisions are 100% between you and your therapist and no AI is ever involved. AI assists us in organizing data, so your therapist has the clearest view of your unique needs and how you are progressing.
 

FAQs

for Members

You, the clinician create one or more Groups. Members are the patients seeking therapy. Members make up Groups. Groups meet at the schedule you define (for example, once a week, 1st Monday of the month) at the time you define and for the duration you define. You also define what amount will be charged each Member per Session - the amount we suggest is $30. Each Group should contain at least 6 Members to be scheduled.
You are always in complete control of ever Session. You are never out of view of every Membere of your Session. You can mute, cut video, or instantly remove any Members at any time with the touch of an icon. If you choose not to remove a disruptor from the Session, you can place the person in a "Time Out" room where s/he waits alone until you join them (again with the click of a button)
Using the Better Together© platform is not complicated. Like most things, practice makes perfect. We hold periodic training sessions at convenient times. We also have a recorded library of explanatory videos.
Better Together© is an adjunct to your practice. It's a great way to provide your potential patients with a safe place until an individual slot opens up. No more overflow problems. Have exhausted individual therapy options? Create Groups to retain patients.
This is proprietary to us. Oversight Mode allows you see every Member in real time including "sub-Sessions". This powerful feature means no Member is every out of sight. You are always 100% in control of your Session.
You are paid instantly when the Session begins. All Members payments are locked in 24-hours before the Session begins. If the Member has not requested a "Skip" then the Member is charged for the Session. A "skip" allows a Member to not attend 1 Session a month - the Member's subscription in the Group is automatically extended by one Session. There are no refunds, except for the 1st meeting of any Group.
Whatever type of Group you feel competent to run. We ask that you limit your Groups to professional experience you have had. However, we encourage clinicians to create multiple Groups for multiple needs. For example, instead of a single "Anxiety" Group, a clinician might want to create several; one for "Anxiety for Women", "Anxiety for Men", "Anxiety for Teens"
