The "Clinician" is a liscensed professional.
The Clinician creates one or more "Groups". "Members" are patients seeking therapy and make up the Groups.
Groups meet at the schedule set by the Group Clinician, including days and times. The Clinician also sets
the cost of each Session - which is usually $30. A Group will contain between 6 and 12 Members.
The so-called "peer-interaction" with a Group encourages Members to develop a "Community".
No longer is the Member "alone" facing their issues, but they are now able to share their
feeling with others who understand. For many types of issues, there is no more effective
short or long-term therapy than Groups.
Individual Therapy has its place, but cannot create the comfort of a Community. Individual
therapy is also much more expensive
This is proprietary to us. Oversight Mode allows you see every Member in real time including "sub-Sessions".
This powerful feature means no Member is every out of sight. You are always 100% in control of your Session.
You are paid instantly when the Session begins. All Members payments are locked in 24-hours before the
Session begins. If the Member has not requested a "Skip" then the Member is charged for the Session. A
"skip" allows a Member to not attend 1 Session a month - the Member's subscription in the Group is
automatically extended by one Session. There are no refunds, except for the 1st meeting of any Group.
Whatever type of Group you feel competent to run. We ask that you limit your Groups to professional experience
you have had. However, we encourage clinicians to create multiple Groups for multiple needs. For example,
instead of a single "Anxiety" Group, a clinician might want to create several; one for "Anxiety for Women",
"Anxiety for Men", "Anxiety for Teens"
Usually $30 a Session. Clinicians form Groups. Members select a Group to join. Groups are made up of one or more Session(s)
held at the schedule set by the Clinician. Most Sessions meet weekly. A Session usually costs $30. A Session last about one hour.
The cost and length is set by the Clinician. For those who have health insurance that covers therapy,
we provide a "Superbill" that you can submit to your insurance carrier for reimbursement.
Yes there is. 100% guarantee. If you're not happy - for any reason - you can either transfer to another Group
or get a full refund of your 1st Session. We have found that for most new Members, it takes 3 or 4 Sessions
to become comfortable in a Group setting. We suggest giving your Group a chance, before moving to a new Group or
getting a refund. But.. it's always your choice.
.
Well, it's similar to an individual session. Your therapist sets the rules of the Group.
Usually, all Group Member spend some time together. (That's important to build "Community" - the
key to Groups). Sometimes, all the Members may be divided (it takes about 1 second) into smaller "sub-Sessions"
of a few Members where you might discuss a question or take a poll. All Members are always under the constant
supervision (audio and video) of your Clinician. No Session tolerates the disrespecting of any Member.
Any Member(s) engaging in diruptive or inappropriate behavior can be removed by the Clinician with the click of
a button.
